Welcome To Pink Pineapple Self -Care  & Cooking 

So why the name Pink Pineapple?  Usually, that’s the second question I get when introducing my business to a new client.  The first is Do Pink Pineapples really exist? The answer is yes.   The Pink Pineapple celebrates something unique, different, and special.  We are all Pink Pineapples.

Taking care of yourself is actually uplifting, revitalizing, compassionate, and completely natural. It is the way that things are meant to be. Making alterations to your lifestyle such as meditation, gratitude, exercise, and creating an eating lifestyle that is right for you might start out as chores, but as you move forward they serve to become an enhanced way of life where you learn to really take care of yourself in a meaningful way.  This site is about discovering self-compassion, self-forgiveness, self-acceptance, and self-love thru self-care.  Cooking and eating is a big part of it.

Mindful Eating

Mindful eating is self-care. Mindful eating means paying attention to and savoring every mouthful.  If you are new to mindful eating you may want to try the traffic light system.

With the traffic light system there is no such thing as forbidden foods. Green for go, yellow for caution when it comes to calories, and red for being alert. Eat the yellow and red light foods sparingly. This means you can enjoy whatever foods you like as long as you eat them in moderation.

For example, if you love chocolate, allow yourself one piece of high-quality chocolate each day and sit and savor it, letting it melt in your mouth slowly – enjoying the taste of it and the feel of it in your mouth instead of chewing through it and then wanting more.

Choose to live in the moment.  Find your authentic self and choose joy that is what we are trying to do today and every day.  Renew your commitment because the solution is consistency.  Be a Pink Pineapple, unique, special, and different and thrive!
